Do you want to play in the Portsmouth and Havant Badminton Association (PHBA) League this year?

We’re currently planning our teams for the season, starting in November 2022 and running until May 2023.

Depending on numbers, we’ll be entering men’s, ladies’ and mixed teams and invite you to register your interest in playing for Southsea Badminton Club.

Playing in the local league is a fantastic opportunity to play against other local badminton players, develop your game, and represent your club. It’s a good taster for what competitive badminton games are like, and it’s good preparation for entering other events like tournaments.

At this stage, we are just asking for expressions of interest. Once we know which players are interested in playing, we’ll let PHBA know which disciplines we’d like to enter. We’ll then look to hold a selection evening to decide who might play in which teams and with who. 

Please note there will be additional costs to take part in the league, to be confirmed in the coming weeks.
