We’re really excited to host the first tournament for SBC players and the community to compete in. Now that entries have closed we ask that you bear with us as we have made some tweaks to the proposed format, to make this tournament the best it can be.

Tournament dates

Due to the number of participants, there won’t be any “heats” to compete in, and instead each Series event – men’s, mixed and ladies – will each be held on one night.

Based on the responses we received, we’ve chosen each event to fall on dates that work best for all competitors. These are:

• Men’s Series – 21 June
• Mixed Series – 12 July
• Ladies Series – 26 July

To recognise this change, the price of the tournament will be reduced to £5 per player. Those who have pre-paid already will be refunded at the events themselves.

Full information will be circulated about each event in the coming weeks, so stay tuned to our website and Facebook page for more details including pairings etc.

We hope to make this a fun summer tournament, to give everyone a chance to keep  involved and playing the sport now the league season has ended – so we hope to see you there, either as players or as spectators.
