Following the success and popularity of our two Improvers’ courses and club nights over the past year, we want to continue to help grassroots players develop their skills.

So we’re delighted to announce that we’ve secured a new slot for our Improver club nights an ongoing basis:

Improver Club Nights
Mondays, 7pm – 9pm
Ravelin Sports Centre, University of Portsmouth

Club nights won’t take place on bank holidays and two Mondays in July due to hall availability.

These sessions are designed to give a flavour of how club nights work, at a more accessible level for newer or less experienced players.

Club nights consist of back-to-back doubles games, overseen by a trained Southsea Badminton Club volunteer.

As usual they will be run volunteer SBC committee members, and will consist of 2 hours of organised games. Spaces are limited and all tickets are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Two ways to book

Going forward players will be able to book either individual sessions (costing £7) or bulk buy 10 up front (costing £6 each).
