Re-register to keep playing at SBC

Published by Lianne on

To start the new year, we are asking some SBC players to re-register, if they intend to continue playing with us.

Why we’re updating your information

Some of you will have provided us your information several years ago, and we’d like to update our records. This is for several reasons:

Accurate emergency and medical details

Your emergency contact or medical information may have changed.

This is your chance to share update information with us, if you wish.

Privacy

Some of you may have moved away or don’t intend to return to our club, and we’d like to remove your data from our records, for your privacy.

Contact preferences

You can opt in or out of WhatsApp and email messages from us.

We advise you join both to stay up to date on the club and our sessions, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

What you need to do

If you started playing with us in the past year

If you registered and started playing at SBC during or since 2021, your information is up to date and you don’t need to do anything else.

If you started playing with us over a year ago

If you first started playing with us before 2021, we’ll be asking you to re-register.

Where you’ve given us your contact details and permission to get in touch, we’ll send you an email and WhatsApp message with a link to re-register – please do this by the end of January.

If you don’t intend to return to club, do nothing, and we will delete the data we hold for you on 31 January 2022.

You’re always welcome to return to the club at any time – but if you do book a session with us in the future and we don’t have up to date information for you, we will ask you to re-register.

As always, any information you provide to us is protected by our club’s privacy policy.

Thank you for your time.
